I purchased this product for my wife. She is very happy with the light levels and reflectivity of the two mirrors. A necessary addition to her makeup table.

I used to have a Clairol mirror that I loved, but after years of use, it finally stopped working. Since it is no longer made, I decided to try the Jerdon mirror. I love this mirror. It is very bright, and I have no trouble getting the lights to come on. Just hold the button for a second--no problem. Anyone who is used to the old Clairol mirrors will love this one even more. I am going to buy my daughters each one for Chrismas. This is the brightest make-up mirror I have found.

This is a lighted make-up mirror that should be taken off the market. It has a glider that is suppose to allow different shades of light, but presumably a manufacturing flaw disallows it to "day" and "office" setting. A metal bar behind it, stops it from moving to the left. The phone number of the manufacturer, Jerdon, in the brocure, is incorrect. I reached a number of a citizen who says he in inundated with calls of people trying to reach Jerdon, complaining about the very same thing. I e-mailed them, gave them all the information they needed to research and they replied they needed additional information to research it. I finally returned the product.

I owned this same mirror previously and loved it. Couldn't find one anywhere in any local department stores. Was thrilled when I found it on Amazon!!
