4 out of 5 stars Good value for a big, fluffy pillow   June 4, 2008
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

This is a very big body pillow, it measures 4.5 feet long but as others mention, the real size comes from its girth. It is very fluffy and I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and the size has not compressed that much at all. Its soft but wide enough that it still feels sort of firm. While its still early days, on the positive size, the pillow has not "clumped" up and retains much of its original look/feel. I didn't bother with a cover since the 300 thread count is decently soft and at $27, cheap enough that I don't feel need to preserve it with a cover. Its getting to summer now and the pillow retains heat as most other artificial fills would - so definitely doesn't get too hot which is a plus. I think the key criteria for someone deciding on this pillow is the degree to which they want a pillow with a lot of girth.

4 out of 5 stars Very lofty, not firm - not what I expected   April 22, 2008

I'm not happy with this pillow, although it is very well made and obviously high quality (thus the four stars). If you are looking for a light and fluffy body pillow, this will suit your purposes well. For me, it was too fluffy and not nearly as dense or firm as I would have liked. When you lay with this one, it seems like it doesn't put any space between your knees, but it is still all billowed up everywhere else! I found it annoying and was unable to continue using it.

5 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS PILLOW -5 stars!   April 14, 2008

This pillow is awful, ended up kicking the thing out of bed at 2:30 in the morning saying "I hate this damn thing" as it flew off the end of my bed. It is WAY TO FULL, it is like sleeping with a log, when it is craddled between your legs you feel/look like a dog about to pee on a telephone pole, I am not exaggerating your leg is hiked up in the air way to high. I even started having back pains, I NEVER HAD BACK PAINS before. I was way to quick to post my first review and wish I could cancel it out.

If you like a HUGE solid mass in bed with you then buy this pillow, if you are looking for a support pillow that is not like a sleeping partner look elsewhere.

I would give this monstrosity a minus rating if I could, both my mother and I bought one and both of us stated after the first use how could anybody manufacture such an awful product and have the nerve to market it, it is that bad! I had to edit out my 5 star review as it was merely placed upon first inspection of the pillow, I now change it to -5 stars!

3 out of 5 stars body pillow   April 5, 2008

For some folks this pillow would be rated a 5+ but for me, I can only give it 3 stars. Reason is that I like a thin pillow and this one isn't. After 3 weeks of sleeping, punching, sitting, fighting and otherwise abusing this pillow, I still am not able to beat it into submission. The loft of the filling is still the same as it was the day it arrived. The other body pillows I've had, I was able to beat them down and get them thin like I wanted them in a week or so. Not so with this one. Blame thing is still like it was new. Think that I may have to donate this one to my wife and get a cheaper one or something.

5 out of 5 stars Soft and Perfect!   April 1, 2008

I've had other body pillows before and not the Walmart kind. This really is a perfect body pillow. I was skeptical at first, thinking that something had to be wrong like not filled enough, goes flat, too hot, too firm, but when it arrived everything went away. I used the pillow and it supported my weight perfectly, I'm a 165lb male by the way. Slept like a baby for hours till I had to get up for class. If you are looking for a pillow that cheap and actually has great quality pick this one. There really is no need to get some 40 dollar body pillow when you can get two of these for the same price. On a side note, you might want to buy a nice cover for it. Its bright white and probably wont stay like that for very long without one. Hope this helped.
