1 out of 5 stars Not worth the money   November 16, 2008

I bought a Sunbeam electric blanket a year ago. Last year it worked fine, but did leave fuzz all over the place. Just got it out of the closet, and guess what? Now it doesn't work. Called Sunbeam Customer Service, and I have to PAY to have it shipped back to them. After spending over 100.00 on the blanket, I don't want to have to ship it back to them. I will, because I can't afford another 100.00 for a new blanket, but I will NEVER buy another Sunbeam product again.

1 out of 5 stars Worst electric blanket quality   November 14, 2008

Over the last two years, I've been through SIX Sunbeam electric blankets. ALL have failed. They start out working great, then one by one they all fail. They just quit getting warm, or barely get warm at all. One controller won't even turn on. SIX of them! One might be a fluke, but that many means this company has poor quality.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty good product   November 5, 2008
I purchased this blanket for my mother who needed some extra warmth in the cooler midewest weather. She loves the soft fabric and ease of chaning the setting. Overall, it is doing its job without any problems.

1 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy!   November 4, 2008
I used only one side of the blanket and it worked for 3 weeks. Then it stopped heating so I used the other side which lasted a month. I sent the blanket back to sunbeam at my expenses ($12) for warranty repair. They replaced the wiring inside the blanket and installed two new updated controllers. It was summer when I got it back so didn't use the heating for several months. When it started to get cold, I used one side for a month and it stopped heating. I am now using the other side but don't expect it to last. I am not going to spend $12 every few months to send this in for repair. Do not buy this.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect electric blanket.   October 28, 2008
I bought a Sunbeam electric blanket in the color, "Moss". It is perfect, was $39. and has a 5 year warrenty. It works perfectly and is a nice color.
