Yes I suppose the description is accurate. it is a COTTON blanket. ... However, I was not impressed with the quality --not soft, not made well (and it shows!). I was hoping for a more cozy blanket that looks nice.

We purchased this blanket in purple. When it came time to wash the blanket, I wisely decided to wash it alone instead of in with the jeans and other dark items. Washing in cold water, this blanket turned the wash water a delightful shade of purple - almost looked like grape juice. It produced an incredible amount of lint both in the washer and in the dryer - I stopped the dryer cycle several times to clear the lint filter. Other than that, this is a fine lightweight blanket - just right for fall or spring when sleeping with the windows open.

ordered product 10/07/07. Today's date is 11/06/2007. Still have not received product after two e-mails declaring this product on " back order". Shipping and stock is ridiculous.........

It doesn't have the satin banding typical of some blankets, but the quality of this blanket itself is excellent. It is generously sized, cut true, and the lavender was a very close match to the advertised color. The weave is secure without being too tight, just what you would expect in a lightweight thermal blanket. The price (at least when I bought it) was less than half that of comparable blankets online or at Target, and I'd consider it an excellent value.

I bought the white blanket in both queen and king sizes. The weight, weave, and fabric are all quite nice for a summertime blanket, and they have held up nicely after one washing. However, the white blanket has a strange greenish tinge to it that becomes more pronounced when the light is dark.
