 Good, but nothing to write home about July 20, 2008
These sheets are ok, nothing great. They are a little rough to be Sateen and they're heavy but at 800 TC they should be. We've only washed them once so we're hoping they soften up a lot. The fitted sheet is supposed to fit an 18" mattress, our mattress is 16" and the sheet pulls off the corners every night. They won't fit an 18" mattress pure and simple. For the price we can't complain too much as the sheets they replaced were Hilton Hotel sheets and they didn't fit either at 4 times the cost. These sheets seem to be made ok but only time will tell on the durability.

The description of these sheets implies a superior product. It's not. A thread count this high should mean the sheets have a smoother, softer feel than is typical. The fabric itself, "sateen", is also supposed to mean a higher level of softness and smoothness. Unfortunately, while these sheets aren't bad, they're no softer or less coarse than what you can get at your local discount department store, and are inferior to a 400 count set from Macy's which I received as a housewarming present.

I always go to bed with a smile now... I literally slide between these sheets! They are heavier but still breathable, and have withstood multiple washings and even kitties with claws racing across the bed and playing in them without any problems due to the dense weave/high thread count. A little heavy for summer maybe for most people but I love them all year round. I have the burgundy and the color is great and hasn't faded.

Great sheet set. Very good quality. I was surprised by the weight of these sheets. They are very heavy due to the 800 thread count. I like that.
My only issue is that the mocha color is darker then what I expected from the picture but I can get by with it anyway.
