Better than sheets at Wynn Las Vegas May 19, 2008 I bought this set on Amazon for a bargain-basement $45 at some point and I am very, very glad I did. The quality of these 1,000 thread egyptian cotton sheets is amazing - better than sheets at five star Las Vegas Wynn in my opinion.
Nothing Special March 31, 2008 These are soft; but, I was expecting something more from 1,000ct sheets. At the same time, I purchased 500ct Pima sateen set from overstock, and those sheets blow these away, and they are only about $50. I got these on sale for about the same price, so I feel a little better about that, but, I would have much rather have purchased two of the other set. I'd be very disappointed if I bought these at the current price.
beautiful sheets March 18, 2008 These sheets are everything I hoped for. They are sturdy but smooth. They were wrinkled in the package, but have straightened themselves out even though we haven't washed them, yet. They are cold when you climb in, but warm up quickly. The coldness shows that they are thick, and will prevent stains from reaching the mattress as easily. I ordered the King-size for our Queen bed (queen was out of stock), but they are generously-sized, so I'm sure Queen-size would be more than adequate. I love that there is only fitted & flat sheet and two king (generous) pillowcases. They don't include any of the silly extras that I never use.
1000TC is Great! February 21, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ever since I've been on my snobby "I only sleep on 800+ thread count sheets I've always looked for deals. These sheets are worth it. They are soft and very comfortable. The only annoying thing about high thread count sheets is how wrinkled they get. But the world is just not perfect. I'm waiting to see how many times I can wash them before they start balling up. So far so good.
At $50 a set, a real bargain... January 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
On sale via Goldbox (I think) for $50 a set, these bed linens are more than satisfactory. Stitching and finishing: very good. Squareness of fabric cut: about perfect. Weight: heavier than expected. Surface: smoother than expected. Wrinkles: does wrinkle more than most but this is due to heavy weight of fabric, hence hard to avoid; it would be good to iron these, if possible. Overall quality: much better than expected and about as good as it gets. Piling: none yet, but only 1 light wash in a front-loader, so we'll see. Note: fitted sheet is for those new super-thick mattresses; hence of you have the older, normal mattress, the fitted sheet will not be tight as a drum (the way we like it, ideally) when fitted but tight enough; on the other hand, the extra material under the mattress means the corners will never let go. Net net: a good buy.
