good product for these times December 1, 2008 I have used the Braun food processor for years but could no longer replace the disc carrier, which breaks often. So I went searching and this seemed a reasonable next generation/price. So far I like it ok. One of my favorite uses is to grate fresh parmesan; this process leaves something to be desired--more small chunks than good grating of hard cheese. Will keep working on it. Good pulse performance; good pesto results; good pastry mixing.
KitchenAid 7 cup - good but leaves chunks October 19, 2008 It's very quiet, feels tough. I would actually like a slow speed, as well as pulse and on. It goes together well, although the main bowl is not as big as I expected when you consider overflow from the middle spindle. Sometimes it doesn't chop all the food until it's pulverised - I couldn't get coarse chopped tomatoes that didn't have chunks, but overall I like it.
I love Kitchen Aid October 13, 2008 I just love this Kitchen Aid food processer it is so much nicer than my old one and so quiet and easy to clean. Would recommend it to anyone..
I Always Thoght KA Was A Good Brand...... October 11, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
But I was wrong ... I used the item 3 times and the bowl started scraping and cracking. I also bought a Mixer that came DOA.
So I went and replaced my Hamilton Beach Big Mouth . My prior one lasted 4 years , under heavy use and the new Hamilton Beach Big Mouth is even better. I gave this KA to a friend who had no food processor at all. I will never buy a KA product again.
Good for small meals September 28, 2008 This works great for small recipes and small families, its not really high powered like the more expensive larger kitchenaide food processors, this is perfect for tomatoes, zucchni shredding, I recommend if you dont cook massive amounts, I will need a larger one for my needs, as I replaced one much bigger and didnt realize that until I bought this one..still can do the job for small amounts
