Product Description If you're lucky enough to measure life by the day, this is the clock for you. It's a perfect novelty gift for recent retirees to let them know their ties to the clock are easing and it's great for vacation homes and RVs. We should all aspire to needing a clock like this. Requires AA battery, not included.

Great Service! October 10, 2008 Thanks for good service and nice dayclock! My husband got it for for his birthday and happy. :)) Now he never will foget what day is today.
Vendor customer service lacking October 9, 2008 I purchased the clock for my aging mother, who is experiencing difficulty in keeping track of the days. The picture that was posted on Amazon, at the time of my purchase, did not reflect the DayClock logo.
I contacted the vendor/merchant, which was a nightmare. They did offer a replacement of the clock face; however, my changing the face invalidates the warranty. Needless to say, it went downhill from that point when they stated there was no return of the product UNLESS it was defective. In turn, they stated that if I returned the product I would be responsible for shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Ultimately, the issue was settled ONLY when I contacted my credit card company.
The clock is a great idea, but not with a huge logo, which detracts from the purpose - seeing and identifying the days of the week.
CLACK CLACK CLACK July 23, 2008 Nice clock, and you can get a new face from the manufacturer without the ugly logo in the middle. It is without a doubt the loudest clock that's ever been powered by a AA battery. In a quiet room, this thing with take over, with a steady CLACK CLACK CLACK every second of every day of every week. I bought one for my daughter, and now it's sitting up on a shelf, waiting for some deserving deaf person that can actually tolerate the noise.
Biggest problem - the Giant logo June 29, 2008 Unlike the clock pictured on this site, the one shipped had an enormous dayclocks.com website on it's face, informing everyone where they can get there one. If I got this as a promotional gift, that would be fine, but considering I paid a premium to get this product, it was pretty cheezy.
Also, for the purists out there, remember daylight savings time will make this clock off by one twenty-forth of a day. That said, this is typically a product that people know if they want, so a review isn't going to stop them from getting one. If you're saying "why the heck would anyone want a clock that tells you what day it is", this product isn't for you.
Note - to answer your next question, yes the novelty does soon wear off...
Easy to replace the logo May 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a nice item except for the logo. I called the manufacturer (wwwdotdayclock etc) and found out that they will provide a clock face without the logo at no extra charge that you can install yourself in 5 minutes.
