Delta In St.Lucia January 6, 2009 This was a perfect buy for my 11 month old...we do have a bigger crib...but this was fine for overnight visits to the Grandmothers' House. Easy to fold and store away under a bed if you just don't have the space. Easy assembly as well. Can't complain.
Excellent November 11, 2008 I am a single father with twin infants who spend most of their time with mom and the rest with me in my 1 bedroom apt. This product works extremely well for me since the cribs can roll, be folded and stored and seem sturdy enough to support my twin boys. Highly recommended for parents with small babies and limited space at home. I would suggest a different mattress since this one is fairly thin.
Why didn't we register for this instead of a cheap bassinett? November 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Shortly after the birth of our second son, our cheap bassinet was recalled. At the same time, our son was ready to progress to a crib, but wasn't quite ready to share a room with his older brother. We wanted to continue to keep our baby in our room until he could sleep through the night, but needed an item with a small foot print.
This crib is compact, assembles, collapses and sets up easily (I, a 5'3" woman assembled it and then carried it up three floors by myself).
The crib bottom can be set at two heights, has a drop-side, collapses in half, and holds up to 45lbs. One thing to note, the crib does not have locking wheels and our 23 month old can easily pull his 7 month old brother around the room with ease. We're presently working on solution to this issue. Most likely we will remove wheels & cover leg ends with felt.
The crib is classical in styling and is sturdily built. We love this crib and kick ourselves for not registering for this instead of the bassinet.
Oh forgot to mention that when the crib is in its highest setting (bassinet), with the drop-side down, the crib can also be used as a changing table.
Too big to put in the car - not 'portable' at all! June 30, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It was easy to put together and just the right size (or so we thought) for our 18 month old, who we are taking on vacation, hence the need for a portable crib.
When we went to put it into our car (which, I might add, is an incredibly spacious mini-SUV), we were shocked to find that it did not fit. Not only did it not fit flat in the back of the SUV, but it also did not fit in the trunk of our BMW (two good sized cars and this 'portable' crib didn't fit?!?!?) What is going on?
Needless to say, I would advise taking measurements first before ordering - this crib is great to move from room to room, but if you are looking to travel with it in your car, look out! We've ended up having to buy a roof rack, just to be able to use it on our trip.
Junk June 22, 2008 1 out of 15 found this review helpful
I ordered this crib for my son to have at my parents house for visits. Don't waste your money. I don't know how Delta can even produce such a piece of junk. Honestly, a better use for it would be firewood.
