Although quilters will especially love these wonderful stories, they would appeal to general readers of fiction as well. They are wonderfully crafted stories, un-put-downable in every sense. Before you know it you are transported into the world of the past and family histories are experienced in real time. It makes the reader appreciate and reflect on their own histories and the values of family and precious time. Read one and you will have to read them all!

Jennifer Chiaverinis' books are great! I have read them all and must say they are entertaining as well as informative. I myself am not a quilter but do enjoy sewing and crafting. I learned a lot about quilting as well as a lot of history while reading these books. I liked them so much, that I am ordering them all to share with my mother-in-law who has quilted her entire life. I know she will enjoy them just as much as I did! Try them, I'm sure you will like them too! Happy reading.
