Cindy could not have picked a richer symbol than quilts for her book about the joys and angst of everyday life. Pieced together with love and wisdom, each chapter (based on a quilt pattern) is a reminder of God's extraordinary comfort and help in time of need. Cindy deftly weaves in the historical background of quilt patterns as she binds up encouraging stories of the life of faith. Wisdom, compassion, and even a smile are all there. If you're looking for a gift for a friend, give this. Something in it will touch her heart--and maybe a lot of "somethings."
