Product Description

Harriet Truman returns to Foggy Point thinking shes just going to see to her aunt Beths customers while the lady takes a European cruise. Instead, she discovers she now owns both business and house, whether she wanted to or not. Still, shes stuck until Aunt Beth comes home, and she does enjoy being a part of creating beautiful quilts.

But then Avanell Jalbert, her aunts best friend, is murdered on the same night someone breaks into Harriets studio and trashes the place. Something is coming unravelled in Foggy Point, and Harriet is caught in the tangle. The question is, can she figure out whats going on before she ends up dead herself.

5 out of 5 stars Instructive as well as entertaining   December 12, 2008
"Quilt as Desired was a fast moving, entertaining mystery. The author displays her knowledge of quilting by explaining terms that a non-quilter would find educational. I hope to see more of Harriet's antics.

4 out of 5 stars really keeps you guessing   October 24, 2008
I really enjoyed this. I like books that pull you in quickly and move along. This filled the bill. Plus, it really kept me guessing. All the clues kept pointing to one person, but in the end, I was surprised. Maybe I'm just not very smart! Anyway, if you like a mystery that's light and entertaining, this works.

4 out of 5 stars Intriguing Mystery   April 17, 2008

An engaging mystery, of special interest to quilters (I'm puzzled by the review from someone who refers to "arm quilting" which is really long-arm quilting, as any quilter would know), but certainly a mystery which stands on its own and has broad appeal. My 91-year old mother, who is an avid reader with an active and alert mind, loved it, and like Ms. Sachitano's other fans waits impatiently for the next book in the series.

Quilt as Desired melds the world of quilting with the cozy mystery genre in a delightful way and is a must read for any quilter.

5 out of 5 stars Every stitch counts   April 6, 2008

Not your average mystery. The infusion of the quilting makes this mystery a step above the rest. The characters are intriguing and I couldn't put the book down. It left me wanting to know more about the residents of Foggy Point. Hope there are more!
