Product Description
A Roaring Twenties adventure unfolds in The Quilter's Homecoming, as Jennifer Chiaverini continues her bestselling Elm Creek Quilts series "that neatly stitches together social drama and the art of quilting" (Library Journal). As young bride Elizabeth Bergstrom Nelson sets off with her husband, Henry, from her family home of Elm Creek Manor in Pennsylvania, this rich historical narrative travels to the unfamiliar terrain of southern California, where the adventurous newlyweds embrace a life as dramatic as the landscape.

Expecting to assume ownership of Triumph Ranch, the couple instead learns that their deed is a fake, and that they must work for the rightful proprietors to earn their keep. Resourceful Elizabeth trades her trousseau -- including the fine quilts stitched by her Bergstrom relatives -- for the practical goods the Nelsons need to survive and finds friendship with California native Rosa Diaz Barclay. Yet it is Elizabeth's discovery of a mysterious cache of quilts made by a member of the Diaz family that reveals a misplaced legacy of love, land, and ancestral ties. Only by stitching the rift between the past and the future can the inhabitants of Triumph Ranch hope to live in peace alongside history.

5 out of 5 stars I loved this book!   November 23, 2008
I have read all the books in the Elm Creek Quilts Series and loved every one of them. I am a quilter and a good book is nice when I need a break from sewing. I especially like the fact that each book continues with the same characters and adds new ones to make it more interesting. I would definitely recommend this book and all the books in the series. The Quilter's Homecoming (Elm Creek Quilts Series, Book 10)An Elm Creek Quilts Sampler: The First Three Novels in the Popular Series (Elm Creek Quilters Novels)

5 out of 5 stars It was an Elm Creek novel. Can;t remember name right now.   July 17, 2008
As always, I received very quick service. I began reading the novel ASAP. It was delightful as all are. I intend to get all th novels in the series..
I would like all novels to be numbered as to sequenc. All books!!!! I have bought many books twice. I'm one who remembers authors but not titles.

4 out of 5 stars The Quilter's Homecoming   March 11, 2008
Now this was worthwhile and I enjoyed reading it immensely. I liked the intertwining of the 1800's story line with the 1920's and how they came together. Looking forward to more info on Elizabeth and Henry's fate after the end of this book.

4 out of 5 stars The Quilter's Homecoming   October 20, 2007
This was a good story, however, I was a little disappointed in how it
ended. I hoped they would get back to Pennsylvania and tell the truth
about what happened to them.
