I had purchased this item in 2inch for a king bed and it was fabulous. When I went to order one for a queen bed, the 3" was cheaper so I went with it but it is too deep. I should have spent the extra money and gotten the 2" mattress.

I bought this product 8 months ago and its still amazing. It returned to normal size in about an hour. It had an odor when I first got it, but I sprayed it with febreeze and let it air out for a day and the odor was completely gone in 2 or 3 days. This mattress topper is so soft and comfortable and you definitely will wake up rested. However, if you like to twist and turn when you sleep, this is not for you because the foam conforms to your body quickly making it hard to move around alot. The ventilation allows you to stay cool in the summer and yet still warm in the winter. After 8 months, I still love this product and have recommended it to friends.

My recommendation - Do not buy this product under any circumstances unless
you enjoy shipping 20 pounds of useless foam back to Amazon.
This foam was a total disappointment. It provides no back support whatsoever and did not improve my existing mattress at all.
Memory, what memory?? If elephants have great memories this product has
the memory of a house fly.
On a lighter note, Amazon did process the refund efficiently and contrary to some of the other reviews this product did not have an unpleasant odor upon arrival.

I ordered this 3" Visco2 Ventilated Mattress Enhancer through Amazon and received it very promptly. The foam was compressed by plastic wrap and sent in a brown box. I found it easy to open the foam from its packaging, and the foam regained its original shape and size relatively quickly (I've read that you need to give memory foam hours to decompress. I put this foam on my mattress the same day and it was pretty much the size of the mattress). I didn't really notice any smell.
Now here is the problem. I ordered the 3" foam and even after waiting 24 hours after I opened the foam, it was still 2" thick. I decided to keep the mattress enhancer I received so I don't have to deal with repackaging the foam.
Despite the issues the company might have in terms of order fulfillment, the mattress enhancer itself is satisfactory, especially for the price. It did take me a couple nights to get used to sleeping on it. I like how my body sinks in, yet it doesn't feel like I'm sleeping on a surface that is too soft. I'm generally a sound sleeper to begin with so I haven't really noticed if it increases the quality of my sleep, but the foam definitely makes lying in bed more comfortable. I guess the ventilation must be effective since I haven't experienced any discomfort due to heat. With the 2" thickness, if I place it on the floor and lie on it, I can feel the floor, but it is a good thickness for placing on a mattress.
I can't attest to product life yet (this is not a high density foam), but if it lasts for 2 years, I'll be satisfied.
