Grandma's Helper November 29, 2008 I purchased this bouncie seat to keep at my house for my 3 month old grandson who is approximately 14 1/2 lbs. It keeps him safe (always upervised in it) and happy with or without the toy attachment. The vibration is soothing and works like a charm. The soft rainforest music is a plus. We needed a spare seat to have at my home, so Mom and Dad did not have to transport more equipment with them when they visit. It was a great purchase for the price. So far, I have not found any problem with battery use, but always have spares on hand. Yes, I would recommend this seat.
Great bouncer! Love it! November 27, 2008 My son is 3 months old and loves this bouncer. It was easy to assemble. I like the fact the toy bar easily detaches. The toys are easy to grab and the lights, music and colors are appropriate for a little one. The weight limit says 25 pounds, not sure if it would really hold that much, but great for under 6 months!
great for a long time November 23, 2008 When my son was a newborn, the vibration feature was great. He'd sleep in it while I worked at my desk. Now that he's almost 5 months old he plays with the toys and watches the lights on the waterfall. He starts to wiggle and kick his feet as soon as I go to strap him in! When he's done playing, the vibration lulls him to sleep. He can be occupied/napping for over an hour. He loves the feature where the lights and music are activated when he bounces. He's learning cause and effect as he wiggles to get the fun started! I love that it's been helpful since birth, and will continue to be a useful for several more months.
My son loves it!! November 16, 2008 My son loves the lights and the monkey and the frog moving! he adores it so much...and stays on it for almost 1 hr. He talks to the monkey and smiles alot@!!
Good overall November 6, 2008 We bought this a bit late...when she was about 3 or 4 months old (almost 7 months now). She would be happy in it for about 15 minutes, sometimes 30. But that's all we needed. She enjoyed it quite a bit (still does on occasion). I've never had to change the batteries, though we don't use it a whole lot, so not sure if that is typical. She did get bored with it quickly after a while. It became a 5 minute distraction. At one point, her foot got caught in the parrot's "ring/swing". That was a bit scary! Of course, once she realized she was okay, she put her foot through the ring on purpose a couple times. We use it every now and then still, but only for a few minutes, since she can sit up on her own, and she will lean over the sides. She's also grabbing the frog as he pops up, and it clicks. I'm afraid she'll break it soon! I think it's time to get the Jumperoo! (She loves to gnaw on the parrot's beak :(.)
