 Don't be fooled by the high thread count! I am sorry I bought these. November 15, 2008
I foolishly thought high thread count = silky smooth. NOT! These pillow cases are very stiff and heavy and thick, almost rough to the touch. I like Pike products and have a nice set of 400 thread count products, so I thought the almost unheard of count of 1000 must mean these are the world's smoothest and crisp sheets. Please, if you are thinking of buying a set of sheets or multiple items, buy one set of pillowcases and see for yourself. However, my recommendation is to make it easy on yourself and don't buy these!

I purchased the pillowcase and sheet set. Lots of room to cover a tall, pillow-top mattress. Nice, smooth yet crisp - just the way I like it!
