very comfortable, but a bit small August 30, 2008 I ordered a twin size mattress pad. I've only slept on it one night, so I don't know how it will hold up, but it was extremely comfortable so far. I've had a memory foam mattress pad before, but it's in storage at school (and wouldn't fit a standard twin anyway) and I'm home for a semester, so I wanted to find a cheap pad for my rock hard bed at home, and at the current price of $60, this one fit the bill. It's definitely very comfortable, but I think it's worth mentioning that it's a few inches smaller than my mattress (in both width and length), and I'm currently using a trundle bed mattress that's a bit smaller than standard twin, so I expect that when my sister gets her trundle bed so I can have a regular mattress again, the difference will be even greater. Personally, I don't find that to be a problem at all. I fit quite comfortably on the mattress pad, and since I didn't have to move around much to get comfortable, I stayed on it no problem. But I should mention that I'm a fairly small person, and I'd worry that someone bigger might have more trouble with it, and in particular, someone a few inches taller than me would probably find their feet stick off the end. Although I haven't measured it, I do think the dimensions of the pad match the measurements listed in the product description -- just be sure to check the dimensions before buying to avoid an unpleasant surprise.
great August 28, 2008 I bought this for my daughter bed. She loves it. Although it did not completely flatten out, It still works great. We just have to center so that she does not roll off it. Smaller than a twin bed
Expensive piece of fire hazardous foam - Stay away! August 26, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
As soon as I unpacked the package, and saw a warning label that this foam is fire hazardous, I was worried. It warns that the foam will burn quickly when contacts fire and consumes all oxygen in the room?! Any how, I gave it a try since I already bought it, but the foam is not really memory foam. I laid on it for only 5 minutes and it felt warm underneath. I tried for one night on top of my king mattress, but got terrible backache in the morning. Definitely not recommended! Save yourself trouble, and save your back, don't buy this product!
  love it August 16, 2008
I ordered this product on the recommendation of someone else and it has relieved my early morning back pain by about 80%. I have since ordered one for my 90 y/o mother's bed. I am so glad I found it and the price was so reasonable.
Not good memory foam August 15, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I saw the reviews on this and decided to give it a try. I had a 2" memory foam on our bed that I bought about 2 years ago. In comparison the old 2" one is considerbly heavier than the new 3". This is very cheap memory foam (the price and quality). This one is more like foam rubber. It is hard and not very confortable. We took it off this morning and put the old one back on. Tempur-pedic's density is 5.3lbs. I came up with about 3.05 lbs/cubic ft. for this pad. (Density = Weight / Volume = 13lb / 4.25 cu. ft. ). Go to Sams and buy a good one.
