3 out of 5 stars tsquared72   September 5, 2008
This is a great pillow... for the loose necked and hearing deprived! It actually works quite nicely if you take the time to mold it to your neck and smoosh it around for maximum comfort. Quite honestly it's way too much work for me. My husband uses it to cover his head up when I leave the TV on. It's GREAT for that!! Otherwise it's not my favorite. If you're looking for fluffy this ain't it! If you like noisy rocks then go for it!! (Okay it's not that bad but I do get a headache if I use it more than 2 nights in a row)

I had one of these pillows a long time ago. I liked it but it was too small. When I read that they had standard pillow size and queen I thought the standard was a new improved normal sized pillow but it's not. It's still the same little pillow as before and it doesn't seem to have enough filling in it either. I will probably end up ordering a second pillow to fill my pillow case and have a big enough pillow to sleep on. Other than that I love the buckwheat pillows, I just wish I would have ordered the queen size because that is probably closer to normal size.

5 out of 5 stars Sleeping thru the night!   August 13, 2008
This is the best pillow I've ever used - I brought it on vacation! I'm planning to buy several more for each bed in the house. The husks inside take only a short time to get used to. I can't imagine using my old pillows anymore!

5 out of 5 stars Got mine in Japan   August 12, 2008
I know I did not purchase the Sobakawa pillow from Amazon.com but I fell in love the one I was using at a friends house in Japan, his parent gave the pillow to me, what a great gift. I have used Foam, Feather, and memory foam, but nothing compares to the Sobakawa pillow. I remember the infomercials "it no burn". Well I never test if the pillow burns or not, but I can tell you, the Sobakawa pillow is cool (temp wise), firm, and the noise, you get used to the sound in a few days, no I kinda miss the sound when I don't have the pillow.

3 out of 5 stars Pillow is small   August 12, 2008
I purchased the standard size (20 * 15). It's way smaller than that. I haven't used any buckwheat pillow before. I liked the support it gives. I didn't find it noisy nor smelly. I just don't have enough room on the pillow when I lie on the side. Wish it is same size as a twin pillow.
