Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
A mother of multiple babies may find herself wondering if she can produce enough milk, how to coordinate feedings, and if breastfeeding is even an option for her. The simple answer: Yes! In the third revised edition of Mothering Multiples, author Karen Kerkhoff Gromada offers valuable information with an emphasis on breastfeeding and attachment-style parenting. All aspects of caring for multiple babies are addressed, including possible complications of pregnancy, preparing for a multiple birth, coping with newborns who might need to spend time in a NICU, establishing a milk supply for multiple babies, adjusting as a couple, and caring for toddler multiples.

5 out of 5 stars Multiples   November 28, 2008
This is an excellent resource. My twins were born several weeks early and there is a lot of information about the NICU and preemies. I read it during pregnancy, during their NICU stay and continue to refer to it now that they are two months old.

5 out of 5 stars Must Have for Expecting Multiples Mother   November 19, 2008
This book has some great useful info for dealing with multiples. I had twins and could not conceive of breasfeeding them but with the help of this book I was able to breasfeed in tandem!

4 out of 5 stars was expecting something worse!   June 10, 2008
after reading the reviews I thought this book was going to be full of propaganda and breast feeding. I have heard about the Laleche propaganda before and was worried that it would really make me feel bad about going back to work (gotta pay for the roof over our heads!) but this book was amazing! It covers so much more than breastfeeding and really is the best multiples book I have seen so far! I'm not even sure why I only gave it 4 stars!

2 out of 5 stars Minimally interesting/helpful   March 8, 2008

This book was not as good as some others I read. And it was obviously geared a lot towards brestfeeding.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful resource   February 18, 2008

Although I already have two children, this book has already been helpful in preparing for the arrival of our twins. People keep telling me how difficult or even impossible it is to nurse multiples and this is giving me the confidence to stick to it.
