I've been having a problem with my new mattress for the past 6 months. I just moved to this new place early this year and decided to buy a mattress from ikea (which turned out to be so hard that I got a lower backache every morning). Reading lots of good feedbacks on this topper, I decided to give it a try. It makes my bed softer, but I don't think it helps much with my ache. I still don't feel like sleeping on a cloud or not wanting to get up in the morning or anything like that - slightly more comfortable but not therapeutic.

So far as I am able to tell, the memory foam topper is a very comfortable addition to my present foam mattress, which is 8 years old and has a little give in it. Rather than purchasing a new mattress, I thought I'd give this a try and so far it seems to be doing the job and hopefully I won't have to purchase another mattress anytime soon.
Though I received it several weeks ago, I've only used it for about a week. To give a really good opinion, I will have to sleep on it for a month or so to determine probable long term value.
When I opened the package, I did see a very tiny tear on it, but didn't feel it was enough for me to go to the trouble to pack and return it for an exchange. Foam can tear easily and must be handled and packed with the greatest of care.

Adds a lot of comfort on top of a regular mattress. Takes a few days of expanding out after removing from the package and the "new" smell takes a while to dissipate. Overall, very happy with the product.

I thought I had found a deal on Amazon. I was mistaken. The product is a little disappointing. In comparison to other memory foam toppers I have on other beds, this one neither offers the same support or bounces back the same. It was also cut irregularly. I had let it air out for a couple days before putting it to use, but the ends of the foam were crooked. Also, the size didn't fit fully over the mattress.

I never would have believed that this would make as big a difference as it has. Less tossing and turning resulting in a vast improvement in sleep quality. Worth every penny!
