WHEN I RECEIVED THIS SET I WAS VERY PLEASED. THE FABRIC IS SUPERB AND THE STYLE IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. I WILL BE USING THIS SET FOR THE FALL AND WINTER MONTHS AND IT WILL SURELY BE WARM ENOUGH. ONCE AGAIN THIS IS A GREAT PURCHASE FROM AMAZON.COM THANK YOU
 Lovely patter but very bulky comforters July 28, 2008

I purchased this pattern -- works in any country decor -- but the comforters are so bulky that I need a lot a space to store them in my guest bedroom. The sets come with bed skirts which I didn't need or want since I am using the sheets, etc. on a hi-riser. I bought two comforters, sheet sets and extra pillow cases.
Why can't one just buy what one needs, such as duvets, without getting bedskirts that we can't use or even give away. I would buy the duvets now if I didn't have to buy it with everything else included.
