Customer Reviews:
Fantastic for a Heating Blanket November 12, 2008 My husband recently bought this heating blanket which we had on our wedding registry. I've always loved the warmth of a heating blanket and hated the way they feel. They're always that awful crappy material and so terribly ugly. This one is NOT that! It is woven on the top and soft kind of like fleece, but not so thick, on the bottom. We got the Queen which has heat control on each side of the bed so I can have it warmer and my husband can have it cooler. You can still kind of feel the wires, which is always a bummer with a heating blanket, but it's the least noticable I've ever had and it doesn't bother either of us. We turn it on a little while before we go to bed and it makes it feel amazing when you crawl in. Highly highly recommend.
Don't buy a Sunbeam until you do your research!!! October 31, 2008 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I've bought 2 Sunbeam electric blankets in 2 years. They have both stopped working. Buyer Beware, do your research first on google 'why my electric blanket stopped working'. You will get so many entries(I was shocked!) and 95% are about Sunbeam brand electric blankets not working. They(Sunbeam) MUST know about this problem, as many consumers have returned to get it repaired, only to have them stop working again! If you don't want to get ripped-off, do your homework (I wished I had), there are better rated brands out there.
Great heated blanket April 29, 2008 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I love this blanket. It is much better than most I have seen. You do not feel the wires in it making it much nicer to cuddle in. Only issue I have had is having dogs...my dogs like to bury themselves in blankets and their nails have pulled some strings out. But I still love this blanket, very very warm and comfortable.
Keeping us toasty! February 17, 2008 28 out of 28 found this review helpful
We keep our bedroom windows open all winter (in Illinois) and this blanket has kept us toasty. The blanket is made with two layers of material, the top layer is a cotton weave, and the bottom layer a fuzzy acrylic with the heating elements in between. There's no annoying clicking when the thermostat goes on and off, and the light on the control is so pale that I can have the control next to my pillow without it disturbing me. A great blanket at a great price!
