the real thing September 26, 2008 Was looking for a nice wool blanket and was surprised how scarce they had become, lots of junk out there. This blanket is the real thing - got the tan twin for $54 and it's a great blanket at a great price. 100% virgin merino wool made in the USA. Real nice double-stitched border around it and it's not too heavy, not too light.
Out of the bag this twin sized measured 88" by 68"
I'd be surprised if anyone would return their order on this one.
Great Blanket, and Made in the U.S.! January 7, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This blanket is replacing a wonderful wool blanket made in England. It's great too. But the Faribault Mills is 60% of the price. Durable, warm, and tan is a practical color.
Nice product January 3, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The blanket was very nice, however, I had to return it since the dimensions were too small for our bed. It's nearly impossible to find a blanket (especially in black) to fit a newer style "thick" mattress and ours has a foam topper, which makes matters even worse. I hope someone comes out with a similar blanket that is about a foot bigger in each direction!
AMAZING!!!! August 24, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It is so refreshing to know you can buy this type of quality at a price and level of service that is UNBEATABLE. This is an heirloom quality blanket that will be used and enjoyed for many years!
NICE ENOUGH July 8, 2006 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is an ok blankey, but if you are looking for a really soft and cuddlable one you will have to pay about $100 more. I returned this one and got a 75% merino and 25% cashmere one called "Tuscany" sold by an outfit lin Florida for about $250 (queen), and I am satisfied. Pure cashmere, of course, would be better--consult your financial planner.
