Product Description
Witty, one-of-a-kind imaginative cupcake designs using candies from the local convenience store.

America's favorite food photography team, responsible for the covers of America's top magazines, shows how to create funny, scary, and sophisticated masterpieces, using a zipper lock bag and common candies and snack items. With these easy-to-follow techniques, even the most kitchen-challenged cooks can

? raise a big-top circus cupcake tier for a kid's birthday
? plant candy vegetables on Oreo earth cupcakes for a garden party
? trot out a line of confectionery "pupcakes" for a dog fancier
? serve sausage and pepperoni pizza cupcakes for April Fool's Day
? bewitch trick-or-treaters with chilly ghost chocolate cupcakes
? create holidays on icing with turkey cupcake place cards, a white cupcake Christmas wreath, and Easter egg cupcakes

No baking skills or fancy pastry equipment is required. Spotting the familiar items in the hundreds of brilliant photos is at least half the fun.

This is a really great book for cupcake ideas!. I made the pumpkin ones. It can be hard however to find the ingredients or supplies needed. I still can't wait for an occasion to make another.

Hello, Cupcake!: Irresistibly Playful Creations Anyone Can Make

This book is so much fun. Anyone can make these cupcakes, it is so much fun to do in a group...with kids or adults!

5 out of 5 stars Doable projects even for me!   November 8, 2008
I love this book! I have never been able to make pretty cakes or cupcakes let alone trying to create animals, faux food, etc. But now I can! They may not be quite as pretty as in the book but they still look good. My 2-year-old loved the monkey cupcakes I made for her birthday. And I just finished the shark/ocean-themed cupcakes for my son's birthday. Sometimes I have problems finding some of the ingredients for the projects but it's easy to substitute other things. For example, I couldn't find mini ice cream cones to make the buoys so I just shaped the Twinkies that were left over from making the sharks. I can't wait to make the turkey/place card cupcakes for Thanksgiving!

I love this book! Although I have been cake decorating for 25+ years I found this book to be very useful and easy to follow. There were a lot of really cute ideas. I have only tried a few so far but I know I will be using it alot more in the future. My 9 year old can't wait to make the tv dinner cupcakes!
