Product Description
Congratulations--just by looking at this webpage, you became 25% more patriotic.

From Stephen Colbert, the host of television's highest-rated punditry show The Colbert Report, comes the book to fill the other 23 hours of your day. I Am America (And So Can You!) contains all of the opinions that Stephen doesn't have time to shoehorn into his nightly broadcast.

Dictated directly into a microcassette recorder over a three-day weekend, this book contains Stephen's most deeply held knee-jerk beliefs on The American Family, Race, Religion, Sex, Sports, and many more topics, conveniently arranged in chapter form.

Always controversial and outspoken, Stephen addresses why Hollywood is destroying America by inches, why evolution is a fraud, and why the elderly should be harnessed to millstones.

You may not agree with everything Stephen says, but at the very least, you'll understand that your differing opinion is wrong.

I Am America (And So Can You!) showcases Stephen Colbert at his most eloquent and impassioned. He is an unrelenting fighter for the soul of America, and in this book he fights the good fight for the traditional values that have served this country so well for so long.

5 out of 5 stars Colbert-rific   August 28, 2008
Simply put, this is a must for any fan of Daily Show, Politically Incorrect, or any similar show. Stephen has an unusual wit about his comedy. The footnotes give the book just that much more value. And, you can nominate books for "The Stepehen T. Colbert Award for The Literacy Excellence"

5 out of 5 stars Read it ... Enough said !   August 27, 2008

He is Stephan Colbert .... and no other current TV show comedian is. This guy is extremely funny and his book had the kind of subtle and in your face humor that will keep any reader laughing out loud.

5 out of 5 stars Highly Amusing   August 25, 2008
Pretty funny, typical Stephen Colbert type of issues and opinions, obviously not to be taken literally. Definitely got some good laughs out of it.

5 out of 5 stars Fantabulous   August 24, 2008
Beautiful book. I had a choice of adopting a 6 year old or getting Mr. Colbert's book. Let's just say my house is much cleaner now.

3 out of 5 stars Sorry, Stephen, only a 3 star general for you.   August 19, 2008
Like probably 80% of the under 35 year olds in the country, and all of the aged hippy, pinko, screaming liberal, big babies of all ages, I am a big fan of the Cobert Report. I was also a big fan of Mad Magazine. I'm afraid this book seems a bit too much like the latter.
