Rating 5/5 As a Halogen light the unit...is one of the big positives...impressed me most was the counterbalance... The lever and gears that...lowering and raising of the lamp...would love to know the history...

- Very...clean white light.
- No flicker.
- Smooth...lasting bulb.
- Light device.

Negatives:- No change...or low setting).

Solid unit...function but rather the incredibly efficient...

Rating 5/5 I didn't buy this through amazon...staples back around 2001 - 2002...two lamps for over 5 years....twice since owning them. I...be of extremely strong construction. ...bulb on one of them just...considerable use). One of them...having issues with the on/off switch...enough not to throw away (and...probably be easily fixed.) Finally...the design. I've never had...I use it on flat open...the light in a corner or...maneuvering becomes a little less effective...away from the wall). Overall...ever purchased. I would replace...broke and would recommend them to...work as a peace offering) -...can get extremely hot as it...Ended Quartz T4 style 50w halogen...
