Rating 1/5 Took the lamp out of the...halogen bulb (was not in place...lamp on the desk and the...the stand. No stress applied but...bar holding it in place was...damage to the box. Frankly, for...shipping it's not worth paying for...definitely do better .... AVOID THIS...

Rating 5/5 As a Halogen light the unit...one of the big positives of...impressed me most was the counterbalance...lever and gears that allow for...raising of the lamp is ingenious...to know the history of the.../>Pros:
- Great Design!
- Very bright light...light.
- No flicker.
- Smooth movement of...device.

Negatives:
- Expensive replacement bulbs.- No change in brightness....setting).

Solid unit were the...function but rather the incredibly efficient...

CONS:

-It's pretty common...lamps, but it runs very hot....under the lamp. The lamp shade...touch.

-No dimmer. Once it's...adjusting the brightness. I wish manufacturers...and other retailers. Not everyone needs...
