I...local weatherman was endorsing it and...the SAME technology since my past...and it never was anything that...I returned it because I never...actually working. Over the month...it never went off - despite...on my PC and on the...entered in the surrounding counties as...and I am 99 percent confident...(I am used to programming gadgets...However, I was concerned about verbiage...that indicated you had to have...the unit to work - "place...or high spot in the house"....can try to do that -...to tell you are getting a...unit goes off - and it...sent Oregon Scientific an email asking...a response back that it would...to respond. That's just not...24 to 48 hours is reasonable...That's when I decided to bring...
Rating 1/5 I purchased one of the first...Portable Weather Radios and I posted...of that radio in the past....the power went out even while...power supply! That's a major...don't you think? That radio...figured out the radio was junk....it was replaced free of charge...Guess what folks; the new one...the original one! It keeps...an alert even when a cheap...alerts. Stay away from Oregon...to be alerted of severe weather....frustrated with the two Oregon Scientifics...purchased a Midland WR-300. The...weather alert radio to beat. ...but it functions as expected and...a power outage while plugged directly... None of the weather radios...but I have no regrets buying...the radio I rely on for...penny pinch buying cheaper radios. ...the good one the first time....Oregon Scientific or Midland. My...this company such a bad review...selling junk and I don't want...never come during weather emergencies. ...

I even take it to...expecting bad weather so we are...than the startling effect of the...appreciate it. I have also...states, and it keeps me posted...those areas too. The only...seems to blow through batteries, cause...a "battery dying" warning symbol already....
