I...gloss is not a concern for...Matte Photo Paper gives very mediocre...low-contrast and dull. One would think...of a matte print, however, printing...Paper gives excellent color and contrast...to the original image. You would...solved, right? Wrong. The fine Art...thickness as regular matte photo paper...you have to reconfigure the printer...it very far away from any...just when you think you have...forced to two options: either print...AND get a 35mm (1 1/2")...to print on any paper BUT...color profiles does not correct the...paper with any selection to allow...the color, CATCH 22 ALL THE...people in forums are having similar...found a fix for it. Canon's...are using the printer not in...to be used." I thought the...definition. Being forced to ONLY 2...you want to get a decent...$5 a sheet!) does not fit..."Fine Art" definition in my opinion....go on about many other caveats...should steer many a Photographer/Artist away.../>

Rating 5/5 This printer is such a pleasure......sold an Epson R2400 because it...to use... printing a photo...took a chance and got rid...hopes that Canon would be better...SO happy I did this! ...Pixma Pro 9500 extremely user friendly...my MacBook Pro! The colors...see on my monitor, right out...and they look FABULOUS! Black...sharp, and the color images are...my Epson ever printed in the... I am thrilled I made...printer to anyone considering it. ...

Rating 4/5 If you buy a printer of...doubt be operating with a fully...use a Mac Pro running OS...Lightroom and Photoshop CS3.
As it happens the...is Canon's first driver (according to...to be fully 16 bit and...and color management systems, CUPS &...news is that you don't need...driver at all; it's SO clever...management print profile in the application...the system knows to shut down...- and if you were to...relevant sections will indeed be grayed...that this vital piece of information...in the documentation; it might not...since I couldn't find it. ...of which applications will properly interface...maybe that ALL Mac applications do...be nice for Canon to let...can tell you is that CS3...1.4.x print color management options have...and every time, since the printer...consistently grayed out.

Rating 5/5 I have been impressed with this...its limitations and you do need...is important to you. The limitations...read that a gloss differential problem...affect me as I'm not keen...noticed this on semi gloss immediately...hours it has gone
- It...printing fine art prints does not...It has never caused me a...fine art papers leads to an...use the fine art as opposed...the matte setting and Hahnemuhle profiles...& Museum Etching papers (the Hahnemuhle...fine art setting).

All the...have used Canon semi glosss, Canon...have been excellent - good colours...(which has been calibrated). The black...also been excellent - totally neutral.
This is not the printer...who appreciate good semi gloss, matte...

Rating 4/5 This printer is not for those...button no hassle photo. It produces...to 13 x 19 inches, but...printed directions on the part of...pearl paper have been very good....printer work fine. I have.../>It uses high quality pigment inks...2400 dpi resolution and 10 ink...$115/10 cartridges.
