Yes, the unit is...and will spill out if you...and does get all gunky around...if you don't clean it -...sense with this machine and it's...for hot chocolate, but actually most...drink powder in it with water...perfectly and heats it up to...burn your mouth hot, which I...could use hot water and good...what a pain. I'm lazy and...the ingredients, hit on, and go...which takes all of maybe 3...sure to use whatever mug I...how much water I need, then...I do it one drink at...amount needed to fill my mug...in the machine so it doesn't...am always sure to wash out...to avoid the gunk that builds...don't even have to scrub. I...dab of liquid soap and swirl...there's any gunk on the bottom...towel and wipe around down there...you quick clean it everytime it's...for your next use. It does...seal - but when I swirl...bottom I'm sure to use my...the little lip. Also, when cleaning...water through the spigot too just...was trapped.
